The great big 'It's great up North' tour 2018

Getting out and about to meet talented young singers up and down the country is what Junior Star Singer Songwriter is all about. This year, we've got 20 local radio stations nationwide helping us to find our 2018 champion. As we're always up for a challenge, we recently decided to make a weekend of it and tackle no less than five northern radio stations in the space of three hectic, but fun-packed, days. From Friday 10th August to Sunday 12th August, we visited Red Road Radio in Rotherham, BCB Radio in Bradford, Phoenix Radio in Halifax, East Leeds Radio in, erm, East Leeds, and 2Rivers Radio in York. During the three days, we met and listened to some incredibly talented young singers, performing a range of songs from different genres.
